This restorative/gentle class encourages the practitioner to let go of the fluctuations of the mind and find solace within their body and breath. The postures focus on releasing, stretching, and strengthening the hip and shoulder areas of the body often overused and stressed in this culture. Specific breathing techniques allow for the mind to step out of ruminations and into a state of nourishment and relaxation. Props are used within class and an extended savasana with sound bath is offered.
